I use Firefox as my browser, and inside Firefox I use the addon called Brief. When you find a blog that you want to follow, find the RSS feed (
) and click on it. You might be given the option to subscribe to the feed using many different sites or programs. If this is the case, find where it says something along the lines of "view XML" and click that. At the top of this new page, you see this:
Click "subscribe now," just how it looks above, and you will be given the ability to save it in the bookmark folder of your choice. The folder that Brief uses, at least in my case, is called RSS, so I always make sure to save it there. The rest is simple, you choose your settings in Brief (In the Firefox Tools menu under 'addons') and you're all set to go from there! It automatically updates and lets you know when the blogs you follow have new posts.I hope this wasn't too confusing for you. If you have any questions about it, just let me know :)
